DESIGN

Jonathan Gaunt has crafted the design for the new practice facilities at Selby Golf Club.

This will include a 300-yard driving range and a three-hole short course, offering golfers diverse practice opportunities.

The design includes various target greens and multiple teeing areas to enhance the practice experience and cater to a wide range of golfing skills.

PLAN

Planning permission for the project was secured by our technical team. The approved application encompasses all golf features, site access, and infrastructure necessary for the development.

A key component of the project is a soil importation scheme, which involves recovering soils from local development to form the base shape of the new practice areas. This is achieved by utilising a Materials Management Plan, ensuring the sustainable reuse of soils and supporting our commitment to environmental stewardship.

BUILD

The practice facility is currently underdevelopment and is expected to be completed in late 2025. Soil importation is currently underway to create the shape for the new facilities.

Once the topography has been approved the final golf features and a grow-in will be managed to bring the practice areas to life.
