The development of the new short game area at Headingley Golf Club is now entering the final grow-in period. The final tee creation and seeding is currently taking place before the managed grow-in takes place. The practice facility is expected to open in Spring 2023 once the grass has managed to successfully cultivate and has a strong coverage across the site.
There are a variety of features that have been completed such as the two target greens accompanied by bunkers, two tee blocks, a modern irrigation system and drainage.
We have worked to bring golf course architect, Ken Moodie’s vision to life and as part of the overall development Booth Golf & Leisure are completing a long game practice area, which is currently under construction. The long game area is expected to be completed in 2024.
